A blessed companion is a book.
It can take you to another place.
It can bring a tear to your eye
Or a smile to your face.
A book can show you all the wonders
Of many different things.
It can show people and places
And even soft butterfly wings.
It can take you to China one minute
Then take you to the moon and back.
A book can bring to life many things
Like a duck who waddles and quacks.
A book can lead you to a far away land,
Can take you to a place far in time.
When you open a book, you gain knowledge
And you open your heart and your mind.
